But before you can understand and see why it’s one of the most effective ways, you need to understand and know what the main cause of acne is.
So what is the main cause of acne?
You see, acne occurs simply because your body contains too much toxins. When this happens, your body will do its best to get rid of the toxins as quickly as possible by using every channel of elimination available.
And your skin just happens to be one of those channels of eliminations. As a matter of fact, your skin is basically your body’s secondary channel of elimination (your bowel being its first).
In other words, your body will start eliminating toxins by sending them through your skin. And this is when acne occurs and this is when your skin starts to breakout.
How can you prevent this?
Well the main reason why your body contains toxins in the first place is simply due to the foods you eat.
Some foods are just simply high in toxins.
So to prevent acne you just need to stop consuming foods that contains high amounts of toxins.
Now I’m not going to specifically list every high toxin foods that you should stay away from but I will give you a guideline that will give you an idea of the types of food you should stay away from.
Here they are the types of food you should stay away from:
- Foods or drinks that have bright colors, strong flavors and/or odors – These types of food usually contain toxin coal tar in them. Toxin coal tars are what make the food have strong flavors and odors.
And the foods with bright colors are mainly extracted from coal tar.
- Processed food – most of the processed foods are processed with toxic chemicals.
The reason why food companies do this is because these chemicals will help prevent bacteria from growing in the food and this will help the food last longer. But this can be very toxic to our body if we eat it.
- Foods containing the ingredients toxin mono sodium glutamate or MSG. These ingredients are like poison to your body. So before you buy any food, make sure you check the ingredient list first.
- Artificial sugars – These are basically just chemicals.
- Meats that contain a hormone called diethylstilbestrol.
- Fruits and vegetables that’s been contaminated with toxic pesticides.
Now I’m not saying you should completely avoid eating meats, fruits, or vegetables… I’m just saying if you’re going to buy them, just make sure they are organic.
Anyways, avoiding the above food list can greatly help you prevent acne.
